Dr. Julie Jung Takes on Senior Editor Role of the Journal of Colorism Studies (JOCS)

Please join the Editorial Board of the Journal of Colorism Studies (JOCS) in congratulating Dr. Julie Jung as she takes on the new role of senior editor of JOCS.  Dr. Jung served in the capacity of editor of JOCS since it’s  launch and accepted the new role of senior editor in 2024.

Dr. Jung also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Colorism Project, Inc., chair of the Scholarship Committee for the Ronald E. Hall Conference on Colorism, and  is co-founder of National Girls and Women of Color Council, Inc. (NGWCC).

JOCS Welcomes Dr. Neha Mishra as Editor

Please join the Editorial Board of the Journal of Colorism Studies (JOCS) in welcoming Dr. Neha Mishra as editor of JOCS.

Dr. Mishra’s  research work focuses on Human rights law, colorism, postcolonial feminist studies, gender & Child rights and its intersection. Her opinions and contributions can be seen in TIME magazine, BBC, Asia times, Huff Post, Times of India as well as international academic journals. Her latest edited book along with Dr. Ronald E. Hall is Routledge International Handbook of  Colorism, which offers analytical and experiential voices against colorism throughout different continents.   

Dr. Mishra is also an advisory board member of the Colorism Project, Inc. and Global Community Chair of the Ronald E. Hall Conference on Colorism.
